Clementine Paper Quilt Wall Hanger

Ready for some fun? We Start At Midnight.

Each month on the 1st we will have a team bog hop featuring a different paper pack each month.  Be creative and have fun.  For September we are using Clementine Paper Pack.

For my project I made a paper quilt.  Cutting different sizes from the Clementine papers I made this Home Decor Wall Hanger. This is a 12x12 sheet scored 1/2" all around and then I laid all the pieces with in the margins.  Added grommets and tulle so I can hang it.  Enjoy and keep crafting.

Curves

So about two months ago I joined Curves.

Thought it was time for me to start the motor going and keep my joints moving.  So far so good.  I go three times a week most of the time.  I like it because it is a no brainier.  Get on the machines and go around twice and you are done.  A little stretching after and out the door.  Loosing inches and body fat so I am happy.

When I cam home today I had my new report and I said, OK I should save this so I can see my progress.  Where to keep it?
Ah! says the crafter,  I will make a folder, it will be fun and a nice thing to save it in.

I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Peachy Keen stamp for the face. Used the Bind It All and now I have a folder for all my information and progress.

Enjoy and keep Crafting...

Birthday Wishes

Today is a happy day, I got my Air Condition fixed in my Craft Studio. AHH it feels so good.  Now
I can craft in comfort.  The month of September is a busy month for me with birthdays.  Friends, family and even Me.  I get to get another one this year.  How exciting.  Actually I just came back from Atlantic City where I met with my boys and there wives and old friends.  We had a fantastic time.  A little early on the celebration but it was when we all could meet.

Well today I made two cards for friends.  One is stamped with CTFM floral stamp and then I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  Very important when using his markers to use Watercolor Paper.  It make a big difference.  The right tools for the right job.  The second one is also from CTFM die cut.

Well off the write my birthday wishes.  Enjoy and keep crafting.

With school almost ready to start again, and after watching Emma  from CTFM make her "Book Marks" for her boys I thought I'd make a few for my little neighbor across the street.  They craft with me and enjoy coming over to my studio and being creative.
The Tags and Glasses and stamps are  from www.creativetimeforme.com  Emma has the best stamps and dies.

The Love Book

To start this project I used my Instant Oatmeal box and cut the top and bottom leaving the flaps which make the spine of the book.  Over lap the flaps.
Then I covered the front and back and the inside spine I covered with a separate piece.  It closes better that way.
The front and back panel measure 7.5x4.5 and the spine measures 2"
I cut the pages 4x6 gluing two together and leaving the top open to add a tag.
Using the Bind It All to join the pages to the cover. I use twelve holes the length of the page to make is secure while turning the pages. Then just have fun decorating it.  I will do a video on the next one.  I will post when I have it done on Face Book.
