My Creative Time Design Team Call

Thanks Emma for opportunity.  I usually start and end my day on your blog.  You always have so much excitement in what ever you do and I enjoy you so much.  I would love to join you and your team who are also amazing and always fun projects to see.
I have been collecting your beautiful stamps along with Peach Keen stamps.  Two of my favorite collections.
I was just invited to do a Guest spot for You Had Me At Craft and for my project I did my craft holders.  They are so cute that I thought I would do one for this DT call.  I use the Toilet Paper Roll as my base and then decorate it.  The bottoms which holds the roll is made by my husband.

I used Simply Charmed for the Chimney cut on my Gypsy at 2x5.47
I used Winter Frolic for Santa cut at 3"
Stamp is from your collection Gift Card Sentiments
Die is your Stitched Oval Die
In this shot you can see the TP holder in the back

Again thanks and I hope you enjoy my project.  You can see others on my blog below with a video putting the holder together.

GUEST DESIGNER LALA PALOOZA with Barbara

Hello and Welcome
I am Barbara from Craft Me This
Today I am the Guest Designer for
Alex, You Had Me At Craft.  This is my very first time for me being a Guest Designer.

When the call went out, it was about 6AM and I was on my Lap Top in bed like I do every morning going through all my blogs that I follow.
Well I could not believe my eyes when I read Alex’s post looking for Guest Designers.  So I went into action and emailed her and here I am. (Exciting)  Thanks Alex.

For my project today I am making a Pen and Pencil Holder, etc.  It is made from the Toilet Paper Roll!!  So I went to all my neighbors and requested all their T.P. Rolls.  I can’t get them fast enough.  Once you start making these you want to make more.

You start with a T.P. roll.
Cut your card stock or your choice at 4”x6.5”
Cut another piece of the same or contrasting color for the top at 2”x5 ¾”
And score or fold the length so you have an overhang of about ½”
Cut Slits along the length so it is easy to fit into the T.P.  roll
The Base is wood and cut on a Drill Press by my husband Tommy.
The size is 3” in Diameter and 1/2" high.
The inside hole fits the T.P. roll at 1 ½”
Assemble the above and decorate.

Thanks for stopping and sharing my day as the Guest Designer for Alex.

Crop Night at Betty's

We had a lot of fun putting together our Halloween Projects together with the girls.  Everyones hat was creative and fun.  Our Skeleton was fun too. He is made with bed springs wood dowels and bells.  Two of the husbands helped out and sprayed the springs and the bells and also drilled all the holes to connect him together.   Hope you enjoy our projects.

#80 – Pumpkin Time
Create a project with a pumpkin on it

For You

Today is a good day for crating.  It is raining here in California.  Can you believe it!

For today's project, this is a Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #62.
I used the MS corner and edge punch, then I added my silk green leaves and punched out the little flowers and added the gem.  "For You" is creativetimeforme.com stamp and die cuts.  Love Emma's stuff.
Well hope you enjoy your day and stay dry if you are here in California.

From Our House To Yours

I guess I am getting ready for Fall and the holidays that are approaching.
The Leaves are from Flower Shoppe.  I inked them and glittered them.  A fun project.
The corners are MS punch.
Thanks for stopping.
