Owl Says Hello

So today I caught up on all my letter writing and cards.  With all the cards I made I had plenty to send out.
I think it is really nice keeping in touch by mail and giving the personal touch to love ones.  A few birthdays and some just touching base with old friends.

Kitty Wishes

Today I was playing with some of the older cartridges.  I even installed the Design Studio.  Getting tired of waiting for the CRAFT ROOM.  Even though I have the Gypsy I thought it would be nicer to see the icons in a bigger format.

Anyway I did cut this with Design Studio but I think it is easier with the Gypsy only not as big a screen to work on.

I think this Kitty is so cute.  Glad I found her again.

Hip Hip Hooray - PK Sketch Challenge 57

Hello PK fans.  Are you having fun with the challenge?  I know I did.  I used Paper Lazer by Megan Elizabeth for my Cheer Leaders.  The Cheer Leaders are cut from Cottage Cuts and of course the faces are from PK.  Where else do we get such cute faces!!!
Have fun and thanks for stopping by.

Rock Star

This was made for my little  neighbor who will be turning 10 tomorrow.  He plays the drums so I thought this would be a good fit.  He can add his picture of him playing his drums.

Design Team..My Pink Stamper

Hello and welcome to my blog.
For this exciting challenge I choose to make a card.
Card is 9x6
I used Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge
Doll and Accessories cut at 4"
Her Outfit is Every Day Paper Dolls Spring Girl
using Bubblegum and Stripes for colors cutting on the Imagine
Her face is Peachy Keen Stamp Dolly Dumplins
The tree is cut at 6" using Cricut American Alphabet-E2 and embossed with Cuttlebug folder
The grass is Green Duck Tape and Embossed with the Big Shot using Cuttlebug folder
then I used Martha Steward fringe scissor to create the grass.
MS Butterfly punch and Anna Griffin Fifi & Fido Sticker.
The Pick Me I printed on the computer.  Did not have a stamp for that.
The flowers are also stickers from stash.
The Bird in the tree is a stamp from Bo Bunny and added a little glitter and Copic Markers.
Thanks for the opportunity to play along.

Did You Say Flowers

This is a challenge from Club Ruby Designers.  The theme is summer color.
I used my new Florwe Shoppe added some glitter and glitter buttons for the center of the flower.  This card is 9.5x 4.5.  Odd ball size or an envelope.  I will have to wrap it in  a box or just keep it for myself.  Good idea!  Looks pretty on my shelf.

Framed Flowers

So today I received my Fancy Frames cartridge.  Love it.  A lot of ideas with this cartridge.  I did make some frames but this one I made smaller 3" and then cut some flowers and added the stems with glitter.  Really cute and a little different.

Imaginations Design Team Call

Hi, My name is Barbara Brusca and I have been crafting since 2009 and loving every minute of it.  After retireing from a creative position I need to do something to keep the creative juices flowing.  I started by Getting the Expression after seeing it on TV and thought WOW that would someting I could do and enjoy.
It has been amazing and fun for me to do this.  I now have the Imagine and the new E2 and a Gypsy so I am ready for anything,  Looking forward to the Craft Room.  I also just got myself a new Computer so clear the way and let me at it.  Ready or not here I come!
This card was done on the Imagine and I used the Bubblegum and Stripe cartridge and the new Flower Shoppe cartridge.
The card is a 6x6 and I cut the flower at 3.5"  Used the MS punches for the corners and the background.
I would love to be part of the DT and I have all the time in the world since I am retired.  I craft every day.  I have a full studio so everything is in place.
Thanks for the opportunity.
