Yesterday I found this cute little Matchbook and thought it would make cute little gifts for some of my friend coming to visit from out of town which I have not seen in about 30 years.  We are all in for a shock to see

how we have change through the years.  Should be fun...

Peeps In The Garden

After last week with all the projects I had going on I am feeling a little Crafters Withdrawals.

  Today I am back in my craft room playing again.  

My husband had a little accident working on the Table Saw and got a kick back from the Ply Wood he was working on.  30 stitches later he has been unable to do his normal cooking and baking so I have taken back the kitchen for a while till he is able to use his hand again.  He is going crazy.  That is his passion.  Cooking and Baking and Shopping.  How lucky am I.  It is all good though  he is healing ok.

MCT February Release Blog Hop

Today is the day for the new release. I am showcasing "To My Best Peep" This set includes the Die. 

 It has been a blast for me all week.  Again Thanks for all the kind words.

For this first card I used the Peep and they are sitting on the Beautiful Doily, also from this new release,"Stitched Doily Die" which is cut from DCWV Fabric Paper. Also used the Easter Egg from last years collection "Hello Spring".

The Stamp "Happy Easter" is from the new collection "To My Best Peep

The background is the Tri-fold Card which I cut twice to get the Scallop on the top and bottom.
  

For my second card my Peeps are sitting the the Jar from this new release.  Using it as a basket. Also the green grass at the bottom of the Jar is for the top part of the Jar.  The little eggs are from last years collection "Happy Hunting"  The background is the Tri-fold Card

MCT Sneak Peek # 3

Today we are featuring the Jar Dies. This is just the cutest. Brings back old memories when I was growing up and my mother and I would Can Tomatoes. We had these Mason Jars boiling in pots along with the bushels of Tomatoes boiling and putting them through the machine to strain them and then put them up in the Mason Jars. Good memories.

Just wanted to say THANKS to everyone for all the BEAUTIFUL comments you have been sending my way.

It has been such fun for me to be able to design and create with all of Emma's great products. More to come and the best is yet to come, the Hop on Friday and everyone will have a chance to see all of the release.

So my new word is EXCITED.  Yes I am, and have been so EXCITED since I heard I was going to be a Guest Designer for Emma, My Creative Time for her new release.

Today my project will  sneak peek for you from "More of My Favorite Sayings" My assigned sentiment to use is "It takes a long time...to grow an old friend!" I decided to make a Flower Garden remembering some of my oldest and dearest friends.   I hope you enjoy and maybe remember an old friend and reconnect. 

I will be joining the Blog Hop on Friday February 15th, so I hope you will came back and join the fun.

In the bottom of my garden I added some green glass  pieces from Michaels 

I decided to do a second project for you only because I was having so much fun making all those beautiful flowers.  This time I made a card using Gold Foil which I embossed with a new folder from Anna Griffin "Roses"

I then used gold glitter to emboss the same beautiful words.

Simple Things In Life

Hi and good day to all. This is another Design Challenge over at CTM. The other day I received my new Cuttelbug from HSN. It was a today special from Anna Griffin but the best part was all the beautiful embossing folders it came with.

So for this challenge we are to dry emboss or heat emboss. I used one of my new folders which is all roses, just beautiful. Then I stamped and water colored my design. Love mixing different elements. Hope you enjoy. Keep crafting...

Happy Birthday

Hope everyone is crafting and having fun.  For this card I designed it in the Silhouette.  It is

an A2 card. I used a scalloped design and welded two together.  Sized the other two into 

smaller sizes and filled them in with digital paper from EP.  Even added the dash lines to the pink scallop.

Getting there and learning a lot.  Actually this was suppose to cut all together but I forgot to check the cut lines and it cut the black and white scallop and the pink scallop. After I put it together I liked my mistake.  Well they say we learn from our mistakes and I sure did...
