Picnic Time

Talk about a project.  Well this is it.  Took 10 sheets of craft paper and lots of strips which I embossed.  Seemed like about a bizillian but I totaly enjoyed making this beautiful Picnic Basket.  The File is from www.svgattic.com  Just do it when you have time.  Took over an hour to cut and most of the day to put it together but it is a WOW.

Just A Note Bag

So today I received from Emma from www.creativetimeforme.com the Chunky Jar Accessories.  They are so cute. The keys and scissors and much more. Today I also downloaded a file from www.myscrapchick.com  it is this cute little purse card.  So of course I had to make it.  Since I am going to a St. Patty's Day dinner tomorrow night I made this for the host.  My friend Geri.  Between the two new items I made this cute note pad purse.  Really cute.

Trick Or Treat

Ok Debbie with Bugjuiced  was right,  it is lot of work but sure worth it.  She found this card in the Cardmaker Magazine.  Debbie was a Guest Designer on Creative Time For Me and  posted a Tip of the day!
I always like a Challenge so I took her pattern and tried to make sense of it.  Took a while and a few tries but I think I got it.
It is all in the measuring.  I cut 2 of the pattern above in black and then I cut 2 in the designer paper and cut those to fit in the panels.  When cutting the designer paper cut them back to back so the design is on the right side.

Enjoy and keep crafting.

Recycle It!

Today there is a challenge over at CTFM with Emma.  This was the perfect challenge for me because I was going to make a center piece for my party this Saturday.  I had the core from the Foil Roll from Costco saved and that is what I am using for this challenge

The flowers and the leaves are cut from the AP cartridge from Close To My Heart.
The stems are wood skewers wrapped with green flower tape.
It really came out awesome.  It stands about 28" tall so it is very impressive.  This will work perfect on my table for the party.

Hula Girl

So I am still making things for my granddaughters Luau Party.  I finished all the favors and came out so cute.  Today I out did myself and made this cute Hula girl as a center piece for the party.
She is cut at 8" from Life Is A Beach.  I used a Paper Tower Roll to attach her to which is wrapped in Burlap from http://www.lizspaperloft.com/  The flowers are from  http://www.creativetimeforme.com  Emma's Flower Dies.
I think she came out adorable.  Enjoy!
